FAQs

How can I put it on a tree easily?
It depends from how tall the tree is. You can either use a ladder and going round the tree you can pull it over it. Another option would be to open the netting completely, lay it out and attach the two sides on one end to PVC pipes by cutting notches on them. This way you will be able to pull the netting over the tree. The length of the PVC pipes would vary depending on how tall the tree is.

Can it keep my chickens safe from hawks and other predatory birds ?
We would recommend you to use the 18mm x 18mm whole size netting, as it’s more sturdier and predators won’t be able to get through. It’s important however that you stretch it out over the chicken scoop.

Is it good to cover a pond to protect my fish?
Yes. You can use it to cover your pond and it will protect fishes from birds of prey and pets.

Can you grow strawberries in a cage like this?
Yes, strawberries grow well in these cages as long as there is enough room between bushes, which should be planted around 20-30 cm apart.

Which fruit bushes need cages?
Soft ones, including raspberries, strawberries, gooseberries and blackberries are easy pickings for birds and animals, while fruit trees like apples, pears and plums also need protection in cages.
